2013 and what I want to accomplish

So its been awhile since I last posted hasn't it?
I'm sorry, I've been busy with life, not so much school, Just life. :-P

What do I want to accomplish in the year or 2013? as you can probably tell by the title,
I will be talking about my goals.
Starting with I want to post on here more throughout this year, From beauty, health, style, or just personal posts, I want to do it. And I will be working my hardest to try and accomplish this goal.
My next goal is to get 25 followers by June, can I do it? I sure hope so! I figured I wouldn't put out an insane number that I probably cannot accomplish by june, like 50 followers. For someone who is just starting out, I figured I might give myself a little bit of a challenge, but not something impossible, and in my case, I feel like 25 is the number to start out with, not to small, not too big. :-)
My 3rd goal, is to really focus on drugstore beauty products. I feel like now-a-days drugstore brands have been working really hard to improve the quality of the products they put out, and I really want to dive in and explore the world of drugstore products, find out what's good, and what isn't. I want to focus half of this year to drugstore beauty products, what happens after the 6 months, what I'll focus on next? I have not decided yet.
I want to be able to give good detailed reviews on clothing, and beauty products, so my reviews can be built up to be quite reliable.
I also want to have a goal to post more health/diet type posts, In the upcoming months I actually have a goal to start exercising more, (or start exercising in general.) and try out a few diets. Starting off with the intense Lemonade Diet, also known as The Master Cleanse.
It's a diet where you only drink a certain lemonade (recipe can be found online) and you don't eat any foods for 10-30 days. It cleans out your system, (obviously) as well as makes you drop weight like a hot potato (also obvious considering you're not eating for a period of days)

What would I like from you?
I would personally LOVE it if you would recommend any products you think I should try out, if theres a product/diet/exercise YOU personally love and you want to share, I would love to try it out.
And I think that covers it all! :-)

If you want to see where I've been the past few months, you can check out my YouTube channel StarryEyeFilms, which you can find here: http://www.youtube.com/user/StarryEyeFilms

I'm very excited to be returning back. Before, my lasts posts, I was writing because I liked the thought of blogging, but this time, I actually feel like I'll be enjoying myself with it, feeling a bit motivated. I'm thrilled.

 Anywho!
You have reached the end of my first post in 2013,
If you have read this much, then you can know that, that puts a smile on my face.
Until my next post! Have a wonderful day, and a wonderful week!

My Favorite Style Youtubers.

Hey there!
So I am very much sorry it's been a long while since I've written anything.
I've been busy, I'm just kidding. I've been sick in bed, watching a load of Korean Dramas.
SO! I figured it's time to plop on down and write something.
First things first, Almost two weeks ago I posted a makeup tutorial for my everyday makeup spring look, So if you want to check it out and let me know what you think, you can look at it here!
My Spring 2012 Everyday Makeup Look

So I guess I will start now with my top 11 style based youtubers. I originally wanted to do a top 5 favorite youtubers, But when I went through my list, I could only narrow down to eleven.

These are just people that I've been obsessed with lately, I love the style they rock.
For awhile on youtube I just thought all beauty guru's were obsessed with Forever 21,
And stores of that sort. But The more I explore the land of Youtube, I realize there's youtubers who rock any style really, from grunge, to totally girly clothing that I want to puke on.
Hehe.  I personally like all though. Just on different levels of obsession.

1. Clothes Encounters - ClothesEncounters Page On Youtube.
I love her style because for one thing it's very unique, and different, especially put next to some people and how they dress in my area. She's able to rock grunge, or girly, and is able to pull off frills and unique patterns, in such a different way that it looks nifty.

2. JLovesMac1 - JLovesMac1 Page On Youtube.
I like her, Though she is very self obsessed, she dresses nice. She's recently been posting some exercising and health videos, and I've started to follow her diet & exercising. And I've started to notice a difference in the way I've been feeling, and exercising and getting fit, has caused me to start feeling a lot better about my body, considering I have a similar body type as her.

3. Grav3yardgirl - Grav3yardgirl Page On Youtube.
When I first stumbled across Grav3yardgirl on youtube, I was a bit frightened when I saw her rocking odd eye contacts and her style was so out there. But I started watching her more recent videos, and I normally can't stand to sit and watch a beauty related video for longer than 5 minutes, and her videos are normally well over 5 minutes, but she is just so hilarious to watch, I can totally relate to some of her thoughts and opinions, and She's becoming my favorite youtuber quickly. She has a very nice Grunge-Goth type style that she's always rocking.

4. Chrisellelim - Chrisellelim Page On Youtube.
Chriselle Lim I love her style, for one thing I am OBSESSED with how asian people dress, for some odd reason, they dress so simple, yet so much cooler than anyone else, and I can't seem to figure out how they do it for the life of me! So I love her videos, she's very chic, and I love her wardrobe. Very simple and very chic, while her video editing and such are done very well and in a cool way.

5. BubzBeauty -  bubzbeauty Page On Youtube.
I love Bubz, I read a lot of her articles that she posts on her website, and I am in love with her apartment let me just say. But that's not the point. Her style is very simple and girly, I love it. Because it's very simple and not at all flashy, she's not ever really rocking big blingy things, or items of that sort. She's very simple yet feminine, so that if I ever personally ever were to copy any of her looks, I wouldn't feel like a Diva walking around insecure through the streets.
But I would surely feel confident in myself and appearance. And not to mention she's got me hooked onto Korean music. haha!

6. BeautyCrush - BeautyCrush Page On Youtube.
I love BeautyCrush, because for one thing she's from London, and I've personally visited London in the past, and I really love London. But besides the fact that she's from London, and has a wicked awesome accent, I LOVE her style. It's very different. I would say not really grunge, But it's got  a hint of grunge in it. Her style is really different and cool. And I'm always inspired to try out new outfits and makeup when I see her videos.

7. ARose186 - ARose186 Page On Youtube.
I love her style, it's girly but yet its odd and quirky. And she is very well a hilarious individual.
I am very much inspired by her, when she picks up some shirts from the thrift store, that's very odd looking, and normally you cringe at this article of clothing, but she manages to rock the article of clothing, and not be ashamed of it, or how it looks, or what other people think of that article of clothing. Which I myself am still trying to figure out what I'm comfortable with, and trying to get over the fact that not everyone will like the things I buy or where, and she's very much my inspiration to get over that feeling of trying to fit in, and just be who I want to be.

8. Wendy's Look Book - Wendyslookbook Page On Youtube.
I love her personality and style as well, she dresses superb! and she seems like you could just have the worst day in the universe and you could go meet her at a cafe, or go for a walk in the park with her, and she would just lift your spirits. Not to mention the filming and the editing is done very professional, and it's very amazing, some of the shots that are captured. But I watch her videos and I am obsessed with her videos not for the filming/editing, but for her clothing style, and her warm personality.

9. Secret Life Of a Bio Nerd - SecretLifeOfaBioNerd Page On Youtube.
Her style is very amazing, and she does a lot of DIY's. Which I have become addicted to her videos for outfits, and her weird pieces that she likes to put together. And her DIY's are wonderful. Though I personally don't know how to sow, only dream of sowing. She does DIY's on bracelets and Rings and Body Chains, I am actually in fact inspired by her DIY 20 gauge wire Rings, So I went out to my local craft/fabric store, and bought a whole wide variety of colored wire to make rings with. She's very inspirational to me, and brings out my inner creative soul. Her videos are just very magical and well done!

10. Sarah Hawkinson - sarahhawkinson Page On Youtube
Her videos are very simple, but very helpful, she's partly why I decided to purchase the Naked2 palette. And I don't regret buying it one bit! I am in love with it. Her style is similar to Grav3yardgirl, and BeautyCrush. her tutorials are very simple and very easy to do, and I love doing her tutorials because they aren't, like Diva Jeffree Star Makeup Un-wearable makeup tutorials, but very wearable, for any occasion. and I love her style in clothing.

11. Shantea Mac (luvableviet) - luvableviet Page On Youtube.
I've been following Shantea Mac since the year of 2008. And I lost her channel for awhile, And I regretted for years not being able to remember her channel name, but I finally stumbled across her channel within the last year, and I am SO thankful I did. I love her videos, her DIY's are great, and her diet & exercise videos are also wonderful to follow, I'm currently following her 'Dancercise' Workout video, I do it every night. And I certainly have seen a wonderful difference in my body. In such a short period of time as two weeks. And has helped my self confidence. And just all around I am in love with her videos.

So those are my top Eleven favorite Youtubers. They weren't listed in any specific order. So it doesn't go from the order of best to worst, but simply they are all equal and amazing.

So if you follow any of these youtubers yourself, or decide to check them out, let me know which youtubers out my top 11 are your favorite!

So I will end this long post, and I will talk to you all later!! : )

DIY: High Wasted Jean Shorts!

OK! so typically you can go anywhere and find a stinkin' tutorial on how to make High Wasted Shorts. But I find enjoyment through writing, as well as tutorials, thus I'm creating my own tutorial!
Alas, I do NOT have pictures of them being cut, but I have before/after pictures as well as directions.
As well as I bought another pair of pants to turn into the high wasted shorts that I dare say I have an obsession with.

Lets Begin!

The before:

This was taken by my iPhone, Simply because I had just bought them, and I was packing
To transfer from my Aunt's house, to my house.

All I did to get my hands on these bad boys you see above, I went to my local GoodWill and
Went to my size and they had about 3 to 4 pairs of these jeans in my size, Hallelujah!
I felt like an odd weirdo as I went to the front of the store where these jeans were held,
As a teenager going through and picking out what people call "Mom Jeans."

It typically felt horrible and awkward as I tried these on, My dressing room was right in front of where the line was, and there was a bunch of people waiting for a room (both genders.)
Whenever I would open the door to show some friends and my family, and ask opinions, Literally everyone in line would turn to look at what I was trying on. I'm sure by now they all think theres a weird teenage girl who has HORRID sense of style. But alas, it was a trick!

These jeans were I believe 5 dollars.

Step One:

Now that you have your horrible "Mom Jeans" it's time to begin!
The tools of inspiration to make "Majestic" into an article of clothing:

"Mom Jeans."
Sharpie.
Scissors.
Measuring tape.
Music to make the soul happy while you murder a pair of ugly jeans.

Step Two:
You take the jeans, and you put them on.
At this point, take your marker or sharpie, And mark on your leg, how short you want them.
Mark them on both legs.

Step Three:
Take your measuring tape, and measure both marks to make sure they are evenly marked.
I marked them using the top of the tape at my belt loops, to the marking.

If it's unevenly marked, you might want to fix it. But hey it's your pair of high wasted shorts, so it's all good!
  Take off the jeans.

Step Four:
You want to lay the jeans onto a flat surface such as a table.
Have it so the marking of jeans are laying on the edge of the table.
And now it is time to begin this operation.
Take your scissors (make sure they aren't horribly dull)
And cut the jeans following the line as your guide. And that is it!

Step Five:
This is probably the best step.
Try on your newly transformed shorts, shorten them if desired.
I cut mine to leave 6 inches (from the belt loops.) Top to bottom.

I've decided I wasn't content with the jeans left like this.
So I went to the material store known as "Joann Fabrics" on a hunt for 12mm Pyramid studs.
They didn't have it. They did have Mini Brads. I figured I can just order the pyramid studs online for 3 dollars from Ebay. But I decided I would give the Mini's a go.

If you haven't studded anything before it's easy! you take the stud, and poke the prongs through the material, and bend the prongs as much as you can against the material so it can't come undone or poke anything, and you're pretty much good to go!
I haven't finished this project yet, but I plan to post pictures of the finished product!
But till then, here's how it is in it's current state of rebirth...? I'll go with that.

But alas, you have reached the end of this post.
I'll talk to you all again real soon!

Who I Am?

Shall I formerly introduce myself? I think I shall.
Hello, My name is Zizi, Nice to meet you. *shakes hand.*
I Can also be know on YouTube as "TheZiziDreams." which you can find my video here!
in which i show what i wore on my journey from my home, to the new house! Winter Road Trip Wardrobe!
Anywho I guess I shall begin!
I Just moved within the last week from central Florida to Maine. In the middle of February-march? I know, I know I'm crazy-out of my mind for moving during the middle-end of winter. But it was my family's decision, so alas, I moved.
We bought a big/decent sized house. But it needs plenty to work on. My own bedroom looks as if it's come fresh from a homeless camp from the 70's. It has old dirty carpet, the ceiling is caving in, in some parts. and it has wood paneling on all the walls.
 Not at all very attractive.

When we first arrived we learned the owner of this room before me, was a misbehaved teenage boy, who I guess was a fan of doodling horribly dull things on walls and tried to be creative by drawing MCR (My chemical romance) on the wall. He is now in the army.

But I feel as if the potential to make this room come alive with personality, oh the potential is there 100%
I'm happy I have gained this room. I don't feel like I would be content with another room. who wouldn't after getting a bedroom with a loft?
Mostly because I couldn't decide how I would decorate my room. I had thought of two ideas:
The First:
I would have the walls and ceiling painted tan, with white accents, and pop of color on furniture. Just because tan walls look marvelous with white and pop of color accents everywhere.
The Second Idea: I had gone to a store in New York, Called "Yellow Rat Bastard." And I liked the vibe I got from the store. So for a long while I wanted my room to have bright walls. For instance, One wall Bright Pink, Another bright blue. One wall bright green, another bright yellow. and I wanted to have graffiti on the walls, as well as wanting to cover the walls with crazy art I find.
But I soon realized if I did in fact have my room painted and decorated like that, it would be very overwhelming for the human eye to look at everyday, especially considering I spend most of my time inside of my bedroom.
The Solution.
The perfect solution would be to have my first floor how I described my first idea, tan walls with white/ colorful accents everywhere. And my loft would be decorated how my Second idea is described, Bright, graffiti, Art. The room where my creative mind can wander and explore new places.

But until then, I'm staying in the guest bedroom, which I most definitely have pictures of.

I feel as if this bedroom I'm currently staying in should be in some kind of "vintage" or "retro" feeling type catalog,
I am certainly in love with the floor in the bedroom, how its scuffed and shows some wear, as well as it being as dark as it is. I feel like if any room will be perfect for fashion/photography/video use, this will be the room to display.

Anywho, I guess I shall end this thought process and opinion train of mine for the day.

I hope all who reads this is well, and enjoys reading my journeys.
Talk to you all once again real soon!
